- Scope and ContentKnows common balk near William Berry’s 10 acre piece in Radwell; 40 years ago deponent was church-warden or overseer in Felmersham, held public meeting which agreed that church-wardens or overseers should cut bushes on it and sell them for the benefit of the parish; employed Simon Barnes to do this; deponent sold them to John Tap. Before their removal Oliver Rands sent kinsman Peter Easton to deponent and said the bushes belonged to him as Lord of the Manor and threatened to sue the deponant and others concerned if they took away the bushes; so they desisted and Rands had them for his own use.
