    two years befvor death of Oliver Rands Richard Fisher saw Thomas Millington of Sherrington, matmaker (who rented of Oliver Rands rushes in his fishery at Radwell) or his servant cut the rushes and the deponent (being then servant of Millington) assisted without interruption. 25 years ago he cut the rushes for Millington; (who rented same of owner or tenant of farm late Mr. Rands) John Clifton (being servant to Millington at the time) was present when Richard Fisher soon after cut the rushes for Millington; 7 years ago John Barnes turned off from Hog Holm cows which got on from Milton Meadow; told herdsman he would impound them if found again; herdsman did not prevent Barnes turning off the cows; cattle of Barnes pastured there. William Joyce 16 years ago saw James Bull, servant to John Parrot (who rented rushes from owner or tenant of farm late Mr. Rands) cut the rushes for Parrot (to whom deponent was also servant). 5 or 6 years ago William Joyce cut them for person renting them from Barnes, then and now tenant of the farm and fishery. Mathias Jackson cut the rushes 13 or 14 years ago. Walter Ward rented the rushes 4 years ago from Barnes and John Clifton John Clifton cut them for him. at Town of Bedford
