    Details of all bequests: [Membrane one] 'In the name of God, Amen, the 20th day of April in the year of Our Lord 1480, I, Walter Reygnolds of Honyden, being of sound mind and sane memory, make my testament in this form. First, I bequeath my soul to God, the Blessed Mary, and all Saints, and my body to be buried in the churchyard of the Blessed Mary of Eton. Item, I leave for my mortuary as is usual. Item, I leave to the high altar there for tithes forgotten, 40d. Item, I leave to the Gild of Corpus Christi, 40d. Item, I leave to the picture of the great cross, 40d. The remainder of my goods not bequeathed, I give and bequeath to Alice my wife, John Thoday and William Gerves, whom I make my executors as ordained and disposed for the benefit of my soul. These being witnesses – William Alyn, Reginald Bayly and Thomas Goor. Dated the year and day above-written.' [Dorse of membrane one] 'The will with these presents annexed was first proved and produced before us, the Official of the Archdeacon of Bedford, and declared for the same on the 3rd day of June in the year of Our Lord above-written, and administration of all the goods concerning the testament was and is committed to Alice Reynolds, executrix named in the same testament, and sworn in form of law, and at length she rendered account with the office, and was dismissed from making further account or fine , saving all rights.'
