    Deed to lead the uses of a fine: James Hodgson of Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, gentleman, and wife Jane, Beaumont Stocker of same, butcher, and wife Elizabeth, William Carter of Oakham, haberdasher, and wife Dorcas (daughters and co-heirs of Jane, widow of George Boston (formerly Jane Kefford), one of the granddaughters of William Staplo of Roxton, yeoman; and of Richard Kefford of Tempsford, yeoman (eldest son of Richard Kefford, late of Chalston, oatmealman, deceased, eldest brother and next heir of Elizabeth Kefford, spinster, deceased, the other granddaughter), which Jane Boston and Elizabeth Kefford were devisees of the will of said William Staplo of the undermentioned premises, and Mary wife of said Richard Kefford of Tempsford) to Richard Luke of Gamlingay, Cambridgeshire, gentleman. A cottage in Chalston late in the occupation of William Ball, but now of Edward Dixie, and 3 acres of arable lying in a field belonging to Chalston, purchased by said William Staplo of William Wildman; also a close of pasture adjoining the cottage.
