Bramwell to Day. Benson tells him that a new petition will be made against the Bill. The opposition want the motion for hearing Counsel on the first Petition to be suspended for a day or two. I am inclined to think that they will decline to be heard on the second Reading of the Bill and will reserve themselves for the Committee ...'. If Day applied to the College, perhaps he could get the dissenting Lesee (Mr Bricheno) to assent to the Bill. Does not expect 4/5 of the property to assent; can Day get the owners of old inclosures to assent to the Bill? [Letter]
