Since date of mortgage William Whitbread had died and equity of redemption descended to eldest son, William Whitbread, who had granted it to use of James Carter subject to payment of £16 and interest secured to Edward Samm - £17

- within mentioned cottage for remainder of said term of 500 years in trust for James Carter
