... to sons, William Long and James Long
- real estate in Beds and Herts as tenants in common subject, in aid of personal estate, with undermentioned legacies
Such part of personal estate as does not consist of money to be converted into money by executors
--- remit to son Robert Long
- 'Whatever may be due from him to me at my decease' on account of the farming stock, implements, household goods etc left on a farm at Upper Stondon for his use at Michelmas last, when he took over as tenant to Lady Lucas
- £1000 or such further sum as with amount due for such stock, implements and furniture should amount to £1700
... to executors
- £600 in trust to be invested in Government stocks and to pay interest etc to daughter Mary, the wife of Henry Eve for life for her sole and separate use. After her decease to be divided among her children then living, or issue of those dead, at 21. Interest in meantime to be used fo their maintenance.
... to 5 children of deceased daughter, Sarah Jessett by her second husband, ie Mary Ann, Maria, Sarah, William and Robert to be paid at 21 or marriage, whichever shall first happen
- £500 ... to niece Ann Long now residing with me
- £500 ... to grand-daughter, Elizabeth, Wife of William Pestell
- £200, having lately given her £300 on her marriage said two last mentioned legacies to be paid within 3 months of his decease
... to each of 3 children of son, William Long
- £100 to be paid at age 21 with interest from date of his decease
... to 2 sons, William Long and James Long equally - residue of personal estate
said 2 sons appointed joint executors
