In 1995 the County Record Office requested all Bedfordshire schools, LEA controlled, Grant Maintained and Independent to forward a copy of their latest prospectus, enabling researchers to have not only details on individual schools but the possibility of comparing schools’ policy in different sectors, age ranges and localities.
