Bedfordshire Quarter Sessions. Present: Sir Anthony Chester, baronet, Sir Villiers Charnocke, baronet, Sir Edward Gardner, William Boteler, Thomas Christie, William Farrer of Tingrith. Appointment of Henry Ashley senior of Eynesbury, gentleman, to be undertaker under the Act of 1664 to make the river navigable from below Eaton mills to Bedford. [There was also a meeting of the Commissioners 11 March.]
