    Thomas Cobb devised the parsonage impropriate of Sharnbrook to his brother Edward Cobb, paying to his brother George Cobb and sister Mary £300 each, out of the parsonage, in form of a trust to John Harvey esquire and John Alston esquire. Residue of estates in trust to Marmaduke Thomson, William Daniel, Paul Cobb, legacies to William Cobb, sister Thomson, George Cobb, Mary Cobb, and brother Thomson. rents of lands to brother William till marriage, and if he married anyone but Joan Meller the trustees were then to convey the lands to him, but if he married Joan Meller, then the lands were to be conveyed to his brother Edward. (ii) 25 June 1674, trustees conveyed the lands to William Cobb. 1689.
