All and every the rivers, streams, waters, watercourses, currents, passages, cuts, dams, sluices, locks, cranes, bridges, turnpikes, floodgates, floodhatches, emoluments, and appurtenances whatsoever, all his interest of and in the ground whereupon the said sluices do stand, which were granted by letters patent 11 December 1638 by Charles I to Arnold Spencer [see FN 1292].
