    Assignment: (i) Arnold Spencer of London, gentleman, Robert Spencer of Plaistow, Essex, gentleman and Luke Spencer of Maulden, clerk (ii) Nathaniel Stirrop of St Botolph, Aldersgate, esquire, and Francis Read of Willington, gentleman (iii) Christopher Rose of Barnard's Inn, esquire. Luke Spencer is to receive the rents of the navigation, pay Arnold Spencer £20 per annum for his maintenance, and pay half the residue to (ii) and the other half to (iii) in satisfaction of debts of £540 and £600 still owing by Arnold Spencer to them. (Recites that N. Stirrop and F. Read obtained judgement for payment of £1000 from Arnold Spencer at the court of King's Bench, that Robert Lovett, High Sheriff, distrained Spencer's letters patent and sold it to Thomas Mills of London, gentleman, 11 April 1650, who on 24 April sold it to N.
