Scope and Content
Confirms settlement made on marriage with wife Christian.
To wife all her jewels, plate, coaches, coach-horses, and a moiety of household goods, the other moiety to brother Robert Gayer.
Wife is now with child, if it is a son, then all estate to him; if a daughter, to her £12,000.
Recites that Andrew Riccard esquire, testator’s father in law, stood bound to John, Viscount Purbeck for payment of £600, which is to be paid.
All debts to be paid, particularly £600 owed to friend William Sandcroft, clerk.
Remainder to brother Robert executor.
Witnesses: Charles Scarburgh, John Laurence, Elizabeth Legge, Mary Richardson, George Davenport.
