Farm of the site of the manor, with land called Perses and Suttons, let to farm to William Ansley for 5 years £8.19s.9½d.
It is no part of the Queen’s manors etc. “de antiqua corona Anglie” “but it was some tyme Therle of Kente. It is graunted unto George Bredyman, one of the gromes of the Queen’s Majesty’s pryvy chamber, for term of 21 years, without any rente payinge. And the same lyethe from the Honour of Ampthill 8 myles and more.”
