Scope and Content
Receipt by Thomas Wylmere to Richard Southwell for £200 in satisfaction of a statute staple acknowledged by Richard Southwell to Anthony Rooper deceased, and then assigned to Mr. Gaber “who sould the same and did intend allsoe to assigne the same unto one Thomas Willmer of London, and is now by casual meanes oute of the hands of the said Thomas Willmer”, in full contentment of the said Mr. Gaber and discharge of said statute, which said £200 Thomas Willmer paid to Gaber, and Willmer promises to do his best endeavour to procure a discharge of said statute, from administration of Anthony Rooper, to deliver said statute back to Richard Southwell.
