    Extract from Exchequer records: account of Richard Grenefield as escheator includes £157 from the manors of Northwood, Brogborough, Podington, Thurleigh, Cainhoe, “Brockbury”,Wrest, Flitt, Harrold and Ampthill, of which Richard, Earl of Kent was seised in demesne as of fee, and with which he on 20 July 1507 enfeoffed Sir Giles Daubeny, the king’s chamberlain, and John Millett, without royal licence, and which were taken into the king’s hand 19 February, 1507/8. Trinity Term 1516.
