    Including letters regarding problems in settling the amount of estate duty, letters from members of the family regarding their legacies, the addresses and relationships of the legatees. Also included is an account regarding the sale of Ivan Alexandrovitch, and a covering letter to a cheque [not present] for a contribution to the Cornhill Magazine by Mrs Harvey entitled 'A visit to Chateau d'Eu', and another entitled 'A Visit to Compiegne'. Also included are details of the funeral arrangements, and a request by John Edmund Audley Harvey for £1000 towards dilapidations at Ickwell. There is a letter from Mrs Harvey herself to Mr Chaundler concerning her difficulties over her jointure which her son is not paying - 'My son has never in his life given to me [?] one shilling. I on the contrary have given and lent him much', 13 April 1898. Also a letter written on behalf of Mr Humphrey Ward about a portrait of a former Mrs Harvey by Romney, 4 May 1898. There are also 3 letters from Arthur [? K - ?], Killochan Castle, Girvan, to Mrs Harvey, saying that as a Judge he cannot advise her regarding her problem - with Miss Douglas - and advising her to seek a solicitor's advice, Sept 1897 - Feb 1898.
