  • Date free text
    23 May 1674
  • Production date
    From: 1674 To: 1674
  • Scope and Content
Note: the heading is very faint, and can only be fully made out with the help of Transcript A32 in FN 1254. Some headings on other membranes (there are four, originally stitched together) are lost; and the order is not now certain. Eight villages in the hundred appear to be missing. From the hearth tax returns of 1671, with which the names can be compared, it seems that these are the parishes represented: - Membrane i Houghton Conquest dorse Marston - Membrane ij Wooton dorse Cranfield - Membrane iij Cranfield dorse Cranfield and Ampthill - Membrane iv Ampthill dorse Lidlington
