Letter from Richard Clifford, Northampton, to Richard Orlebar at his chambers in the Middle Temple near the cloisters, “with care”. “To aquint you about that persill of land.... I shall give no more than 300 pound, so if you plese to let mee have it so set the ritinges forwards as soone as you plese, and god willing at Crismas next the money shall be payed you.”
