Dear Mr & Mrs Trachsler, I send you our best wishes for 1953 and hope it will be a happy and successful one for you. The great event here in England this year will be the Coronation of our young and beloved Queen. We are expecting very great crowds to England in May and June, for this great event. I have official duties myself in my own town this year and it will mean that my wife and I will take our holidays in April, and we wish to go to Italy. We were not able to get to Switzerland, as we had hoped, for Christmas. We spent Christmas at home with our family. Could the facilities be available in Rome? I imagine that there would not be any difficulty about this, but as we are now making our plans I should be greatly obliged if you would let me know if this could be done.
