Referring to the order to produce the deed (CD774). Josiah Cole is claiming £150 against Mr White for recovery of £150 for planting straws upon Mr Cole quitting the farm at Langford. Mr White says that he purchased all the growing crops which included straw. Mr Cole's solicitor says also that the property was never conveyed to Mr White but to trustees. He has been obliged to make use of his 'better half' as clerk- Betsy will return to Bedford on Monday afternoon. 'I believe it is simply to annoy and perplex us .... as we have brought a Cross Action against Cole for Breach of Convenants....'
