Sent to Miss A. Crekerton, Purton House, Purton, Wilts. Message reads "Dearest Cis, I have sent you a p.c. of our House which I hope you will like it is only one side of it but it is very like it it is much prettier now though as it is covered with different coloured roses & creepers it looks lovely I do wish you could see it in reality we start haymaking this week hope you are quite well dear thanks so much for your nice long letter I will write in a few days it is perfect here today very glad to hear you are alright with C[?] again afraid I must close now dear with best love I am ever yours B xxx." Message on the picture side reads "This is the beginning of the park which you can see here there is a big lawn between that fence & the house you wouldn't think it to look at it would you..."
