    i) William Dawson, Saxam, near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, Esq ii) George Cooper, Biggleswade, miller iii) John Foster, Biggleswade, merchant consid - £250 paid to i) by ii) i) releases to ii) - part of close of pasture or arable called the Spectacles (4acres) as is freehold, remaining part having been purchased by the trustees of the turnpike road, situated at townsend leading towards Langford, in occupance John Downe. Said property was purchased by i) from Thomas Greene, of Ampthill by lease and release of 21 and 22 September 1787. i) Covenants to surrender the copyhold part of said close to hold freefrom all charges except term of 1000 years in freehold part of said premises, by assignment of 22 Sept 1787 now vested in Ann, wife of Thomas Sandys and intended by assignment of even date to be assigned to Samuel Davis, junior, in trust for ii). Also excepting lease of said freehold and leasehold premises granted by i) to John Downe, for 7, 14 or 21 years, on 10 August 1792 iii) has agreed with i) for the purchase of a freehold piece of land lying near said freehold and copyhold and as said freehold land is of greater value than freehold part of the premises purchased by ii), it was agreed that iii) should have title deeds.
