“I resign my immortal soul.....”
To wife Amy (in case of no children) for life messuage in Hammersmith lately purchased of one Leeke; and also (cut away) of the manor of Fulham, surrendered to use of will; then to nephew James Chabanes.
To godson Vincent Stringer, son of John and Elizabeth Stringer, now at board with John Farne of Roxeth Green, Harrow-on-the-Hill, £17 per annum till age 14, and then £50 to be put out apprentice, with £10 per annum during apprenticeship, and then £100 towards setting up his trade.
To trustees George Evelyn esquire and Francis Peters, attorney-at-law, annuity of £150 purchased in Exchequer, for wife during life, and then to nephew. To wife for life also silver plate and then to nephew James to whom residue.
