    To daughter Mary £1000, To sons Thomas and William £1000 each, both conditional on giving receipt for £100 for £100 legacy bequeathed by their grandmother Lady Mary Hatton. To brother-in-law William Boteler esquire and to uncle John Orlebar esquire and to cousin George Orlebar, citizen and merchant, tailor of London, to whom 20 guineas each, the following on trust: A farm in Podington in the occupation of Humphrey Childe gentleman and wife Elizabeth. A farm in Podington in the occupation of John Denton. Wright’s cottage in Podington, purchased of uncle Richard Orlebar. Oat close, Meadow park close, Park close meadow, Paulchins foreyards, Crow gardens, in Wymington, also farm in the occupation of Richard Goodman, purchased of William Mackham; to be sold if necessary for payment of debts and for putting out sons apprentice to trade or profession. To son Richard residue, to whom also plate and household goods and £50 of the old gold which was my Lady Hatton’s. To mother £20. To poor of Podington £10 and of Harrold £5. Funeral to be as private as may be; mourning bequests include cousin Ursula Wollaston; mourning rings to Lady Hatton of Long Stanton, sister Boteler of Biddenham, Sir Christopher Hatton and his lady, brother Davis and his wife, uncle Richard Orlebar.
