Scope and Content
Sir, With reference to your lette of 16th November 1951, I wish to inform you that no special permission to land is necessary for visitors to land in Trinidad. Provided you comply with the Immigration Regulations in that you are in possession of a return ticket and sufficient funds for your maintenance ashore, you will have no trouble whatever. Restrictions are only imposed where persons come the Colony to seek employment, I have the honour to be, Sir, your obediant servant, J M Rodriguez, Deputy Chief Immigration Officer.
