Mr. Wright’s death I have been expecting for some time. If I had been in his case I should have prayed for it night and day. A friend of mine went to stay with Maclaren a little while ago. You will remember him at Southampton. He began to talk about William as if the five and forty years distance were nothing. We both send our best love Your most affectionate friend W.
