  • Scope and Content
Dear Mr Janes, Many thanks for your letter. Immediately on its arrival I set out to find you accommodation, but I had no luck. All the small flats for 1-3 persons were booked most of them from 10th or 15th of July on. That's the time the school holydays [sic] begin in this country. There were a few still available, but not very comfortable ones, no bathroom etc. I quite understand your wish to get away from the Hotel life like you get in Interlaken, on the other hand if you would like to stay in one of the small Pensions in Grindlewald I would be able to find you something quite comfortable. These small Pensions are generaly [sic] known for their good food, and very friendly atmosphere. They charge about 13 or 15 francs all included per days and person. If such an arrangement would suit you, please let me know soon. We are having a rather mild winter here, but lots os [sic] snow all the same and very good skiing . The hotels at the moment are quite full in spite of the fact htat [sic] there are no English visitors here. I am looking forward to see you next summer. With kind regards yours sincerely Hans Schlunegger
