Scope and Content
(i) John Winn of Biggleswade, maltster.
(ii) Thomas Barber of Northill, yeoman.

All late purchased by John Winn of Joseph Baker.
Tenant to spend all straw dung and compost on the premises during said term and also that of the crop growing the harvest next thereafter.
Tenant to hold the barns and yard till Midsummer day twelve month next after the end of the term to ' thresh out and fodder and make dung of the last crop'.
Tenant to pay half a year's rent at 7s. p.a. per acre for the ground the crop grows on the harvest after the end of the term, in consideration of the fact that there 'is now growing or this season to grow' about 20 acres which Joseph Baker has now sown and is to take off to be spent on the premises; and as many acres as are now sown or to be sown this season so many may (ii) may sow for a crop the harvest next after the end of the term.
Tenant to have but one half of the leys to be set out by (i) and no more than a sixth yearly during the said term of that half.
Tenant to do all repairs of thatching claying and glazing.
