    (i) Richard Brown of Northill,2nd son of Thomas Brown, late of Betchworth,Surrey, knight, deceased and wife Margaret. (ii) Thomas Tomsone of Thorncot/Thorncote, husbandman, and John Tomsone. -- A farm called St.Anne's with all buildings, land etc.belonging thereto,in Thorncot. Recites 1 November 1607:Lease,(i) to(ii). Expected: 1 rod in Padworth Field in (blank) furlong between the green way called Church Waye West and land of Ralph Bromsall, now in use John Peck,East and abutting on a headland of(i) now in use John Claydon, South and on a common baulk called Church Way baulk North; 1 Close past. called St Anne's Grove; 1 Close pasture called Pinchell or Pinche closes in Northill; All arable land meadow, meadow and pasture occupied (i), his farmer or farmers of the College of Northill, or belonging to the mansion house called the College of Northill or in occupance Anthony Huggeate alias Rocket, clerk,and all tithes and tenths arising from any of then premises. Possession in default of payment excepted in respect of 10 acres arable (wanting 2 rods) lying on Budnowe field in Northill, in Barnworth and church furlongs which lands are intended to be conveyed by(ii) to Ralph Bromsall of Beeston by conveyance dated 26 inst.November, which is recited,(in draft,signed by Thomas Thomson).
