[reciting: surrender by Charles Gover, 10 Dec. 1856 to William Hanscombe, Pirton Grange, gentleman, as part of premises for £4,320- £4,300 for freehold --- cottage, Upton End, Shillington divided into 2 tents. late occupied Leonard Simmons and James Cherry as undertenants of Twydell Dear, then by William Cox & Frank Cherry, undertenants of Joseph Pestell --- pightle (1 acre) adjoining --- 2 acres being the West side of the Bury Close (13 acres 3 rods 8 poles) to which Charles Gover was admitted, 14 Oct, 1856 as devisee in trust under wills of Jane Longueville, spinster and Bridget Frances Profit, widow.
