    ---To to eldest son John, messuage and 12 acres Apsley End, Shillington, purchased of John Oliver, on condition that he surrenders to son James the allotment devised to him below, surrendered to his use by John Wright. --- To son James copyhold house, Pirton, purchased of Mr. Whittingstall, with homestead and appurt.,and allotment in North Mead field, Pirton. --- To daughter Ann, wife of Charles Kingsley, cottage and wheelwright's shop, Shillington, occupied Robert Upton, purchased of John Taylor and James Crouch. Executors: sons John, James and William --- to them all personal estate in trust (having already advanced to son William and daughter Ann £500 each) --- sons William and James £200 each --- Ann, £70 --- son Joseph £700 --- residue to be divided equally among the testator's children and the issue of those children who died in testator's lifetime - the issue to share the portion of the deceased child in equal parts. Witnesses: John Hawkins, John Throssell, George Garratt. Testator died 20 Dec. 1823.
