    -- To wife Ann for life, annuity of £60 and use of household goods as she shall choose up to the value of £100 as long as she remains a widow, if she remarries, the same to be divided in equal shares among the children. -- to son James and 3 daughters Mary, Ann and Elizabeth £1000 each. -- all real estate (Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire to son William subject to £60 annuity. -- if wife decides to reside at the house at the Pump Farm abd have the use of garden ground belonging, this house is to be repaired and fitted up - £200 for this purpose and for furnishing. William to provide wood and pay for the carriage of coals from Biggleswade.-- £500 each to younger children in addition to the above legacies. Executors: wife and friend Edward Payne of St.Albans. Affidavit by John Leach,179 Upper Thames Street, London, gentleman that certain words inserted were in testator's handwriting. Witnesses Mary Bell, Ann Trustram, T. Times.
