[reciting: marriage of Thomas, Lord Grantham & Mary Jemima soon after the date of the said settlement; Philip E. of Hardwick, 16 Aug. 1780, paid £4000 to (ii) & John Parker, since deceased. (Lord Boringdon), Part of £10.000 to be held in trust; the £4000 was applied to discharge of mortgage due to George Ashley Esq., on
estates of Whitehall & Rockliffe; Thomas, Lord Grantham died 20 July 1786, leaving issue 3 sons:
