    (i) T.C. Brettingham, formerly called Thomas Brettingham of Diss, Norfolk, Esq. & wife Clara (ii) Benjamin Goode, of Howland Street, Fitzroy Square, gent. (iii) Philip Goode, of same, gent. [ reciting AL2 [will of Thomas Clark] ; Thomas Clark died 1 Aug. 1780 John Ingram died 16 March 1782, buried Marylebone; Mary Waldegrave died 27 Aug 1791, buried Marylebone ; Mary Chandler married ---- French, died 4 Sept. 1797, buried St. Botolph, Colchester; Susannah Chandler on 12 May 1781 married Richard Brettingham, died 3 April 1799, buried St. Johns Ilketshall, Suffolk. Thomas C. Brettingham was her only son, died 23 July 1789, baptised Thomas, but has since assumed additional name of Clark. Anna Maria Cauldwell, March 1781 married John Winstanley, (only child by 1st marriage died an infant 22 May 1774); she survived her husband and died 2 Nov. 1827 without issue. (i) therefore became heir to estate of Thomas Clark, and term of 1000 yrs has ceased. (formerly one 27ac); Bury Field (16ac); Hall Close (14ac); Spinney Close (14ac); Three Cornered Close (10ac); Honey Croft Close (12ac); Overend Close and Larks Pightle (8ac); Milking Close (10ac), the Spinney (1ac 2r) --- Swan Inn, Pavenham, with garden, orchard, home close & homestead, formerly occupied by Thomas Estwick, then Thomas Wollaston, since [?] Riseley snr. --- 3 cottages, Pavenham, occupied by Matthew Carrington, Thomas Walls & Widow Stonebank, since William Wiggins, Mary Ball & John fuller --- 5 cottages or site, Pavenham, formerly occupied by Elizabeth Morris widow, Mary Millington widow, William Freeman & John Ball, then Ann Baringer, Mary Church, Mary Millington, Matthew Bandy & John Ball.
