    1) Truman Tanqueray of Tingrith, Clerk; John Thomas Green of Woburn, Gent; Thomas Hagger of Chishill, Essex, Draper (Trustees of the Will of Edward Ashwell and Vendors) 2) James Holland of Totternhoe, Farmer (Purchaser) recites Will of Edward Ashwell, late of Leighton Buzzard, to wife, Ann Ashwell, all his Messuages, Cottages, woods, grounds, lands etc; freehold, copyhold or leasehold in Beds & Bucks (Subject to payments of Annuities) Reversion to Sir Jonathan Lovett & Samuel Davis as Trustees: firstly to pay Annuities; then to use of Charles Ashwell of Litchfield, Staffs, Esq in entail male . Reversion to Edward Ashwell, eldest son of John Ashwell of Bonest [Bolnhurst], Yeoman Reversion to John Ashwell, second son of John Annuities to Catharine Baskerfield of Leigton Buzzard, Widow and Ann Dell of same £20pa each. Both are long since dead. Will made 10 November 1772. Proved PCC 14 April 1795 recites Death of Charles Ashwell in February 1798; buried at Ayot St Lawrence, Herts during the lifetime of Ann Ashwell. He left no issue. recites Death of Ann Ashwell on 30 January 1835, buried at Leighton Buzzard recites Will of John Ashwell, the Son to his son Edward property in Edward Ashwell's Will BUT subject to Annuities £100 to wife, Catharine Ashwell, £40 to testator's sister, Mary; £40 to his sister, Ann. AND £6,000 & 3% Interest to Truman Tanqueray & John Cooper, the Younger of Crick, Northants, Farmer to be paid within three years of the son getting the estate. made 26 July 184. Proved Archdeaconry of Bedford 25 January 1842 recites Deaths of Ann Ashwell 8 January 1847 & Mary Ashwell 19 January 1848, both buried at Tempsford recites Will of Edward Ashwell (the son of John Ashwell, the Testator) to Truman Tanqueray, John Thomas Green and Thomas Hagger as Trustees for sale: all freehold and copyhold land not specifically devised made 3 May 186.
