well acquainted with Edward Ashwell, late of Eversholt, deceased, who was tenant for life of real estate in Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire, came to Eversholt thirty years ago; wife Sarah (nee Vaughan) died nine years since. Edward died 31 December 1865. Goodman was the Executor of his Will. Sarah was the only wife of Edward; one child died within a year of birth.
