    recites Settlement by Lease & Release to provide for the younger children of William & Mary Fossey 1) Mary Fossey of Dunstable, widow of William Fosey, draper, deceased & only daughter of Samuel Hopkins, late of Luton, Tallow Chandler (He was the son & heir of Francis Hopkins of the same, tallow chandler) and Mary, his wife, both deceased. (Mary Hopkins was the daughter of John Cooke late of Dunstable, Joyner & Mary his wife, both deceased) 2) parties 1) above as Trustees recites William Fossey, as eldest son is entitled to real estate value £1,000+ AND that Edward Fossey, Elizabeth Fossey, Mary Fossey, Sophia Fossey & Rebecca Fossey, five of the younger children are entitled to a smaller provision AND none for Charlotte Fossey. To redress this the trustees are to sell premises below soon after the death of Mary Fossey, Widow to provide for the younger children 23 & 24 April 1765 Messuage or tenement, late in the occupation of John Dodd, but now of Joseph Mann in Middle Row Dunstable, (the last but one at the South End , adjoining on N messuage or tenement of John Nicholls (now & for several years past occupied by Ulysses Coleman) and south Messuage or tenement of Susanna Pedder, as owner/occupier. (originally conveyed to John Cooke by Thomas Squire by Grant of Feoffment on 23 March 1698 (1699) when it was described as a messuage or tenement, theretofore in the occupation of Elizabeth Mason, since in the tenure of Thomas Tompkins & then or late in the occupation of Job Faxon in Middle Row in South Street, Dunstable, between the tenement sometimes of William Brickett, then of Robert Chapman on the north part & tenement, sometimes of Robert Faxon, then of John Fossey Consideration £40 paid by 2) to 1) Witnesses Thomas Parken of Kensworth; Thomas Foulkes of Dunstable 21 & 22 January 1772
