(The Cottage divided into two tenements are now in the occupation of - Stone & Ebenezer Handscomb, together with all houses etc, including the necessary house to remain in the place it now stands & the drain of the yard & the necessary house to run & empty themselves into that part of the yard of Thomas Cart now used for his dunghill or muck hole) abuttments: W Cottage or Tenement of the Widow Dix E Messuage or Inn , late in the occupation of Richard Leach but now of Thomas Cart S Common Street Consideration £195 16s paid by 2) to 1) 3 & 4 April 1778 Attested by George Austin of Shefford. 17 December 1832
