Letter from Thomas Hyde; still not seen Stokes. Mrs. Bedford's goods sold; will retain rent (23s.) and hand rest to Relieving Officer. Moses Leeper going into cottage. Has 20 men at work in Seven Acres & gravel nearly all dug. Other small items. Believes land wanted for burial ground for new Baptist chapel - not advisable to sell for this, but for building.
