Title
Potton: original engrossed deed poll parchment Parish copy of the Award signed and sealed by the three Commissioners. 7 skins of the Award text with two additional skins being the survey maps/plans accompanying the Award - one for each of Windmill Field and Gamlingay Field - also sewn at the foot and signed by the Commissioners. The first skin includes (affixed) a small piece of parchment containing the Commissioners’ oaths. Inscribed as inrolled on 13 March 1776 (on dorse) and includes a memorandum of inrolment, on the seventh skin, signed by Jeremy Fish Palmer (Clerk of the Peace) and recording presentation of this and the other duplicate original copy of the Award.
