Leigh etc. Agreement,parties as above. 12 Dec. 1879. Order in Chancery.Approving Agreement (purchase money to be paid into Court) 4 June 1880. A piece of land at Hart Hill in Township and Borough of Luton in occupance of William Clarke as yearly tenant (2A, 3R, 13P) Abs pt NW land belonging to Executors of Mr. Ellerd.Pt NW Reservoir of 2), NE Hart Lane.S. Public Footpath and land belonging to Eleanor Lucy Leigh marked on plan in Margin. NB on plan marked ""as proposed site of new reservoir."" Covenant of Company not to use site except as Reservoir Covenant to erect no other buildings than an ornamental Water Tower (to be built on plan approved of by 1)) within 3 mths of 29 Sept 1880 put up fence in straight line A-B with post and rail fence and within 2 years erect in said line a continuous stone or brick wall or oak park paling without any opening - not less than 5 ft high ""and shall properly construct the footpath 3 ft wide running along SE side of piece of land".
