Parcel of the possessions of the former priory of Canons Ashby: lands and tenements in Podington:-
rent of assize or free rent of John Faldo for land, per annum 2s.
rent or farm of a messuage in the tenure of William Burton at will, per annum 12s. .
farm of Podington rectory and tithes of corn; formerly held by William Burton deceased, reserving to the king and his heirs all great trees and the advowson of Podington vicarage; leased for 21 years to Daniel Payne of Higham Ferrers, yeoman, by indenture bearing seal of the Court of Augmentations 14 January 1538. £8. 2s. 8d.
Deduct : rent resolute, late of the Earl of Kent, for a watercourse leading from the well called Pywells to the house of the said rectory, 16d. per annum – discharged.
synodals and procurations payable to the Archdeacon of Bedford. 6s. 8d.
