- Scope and ContentDaughter-in-law Lydia indebted £300 to testator secured by a Bond executors within one month to convey to daughter Mary Anstee, or to John, her husband if she so desires. Daughter in law Lydia not liable for any interest or called on for payment of £300 for 9 yrs. in case she shall carry on the farm she now occupies in Houghton Regis, she being of good credit and reputation paying regularly the rent and remaining solvent but if gives up farm or be insolvent or likely to be so will then be liable to be sued by Anstees. b) to accomodate late son John, sometime ago lent him £300 if representatives pay interest up to time of decease, executor to quit claim, all claims testator had v. them,but if default of interest for longer than 12 mth, executor then power to sue for principal. c) Messuages, cottages, or tenements, lands, hereditaments & premises in Houghton Regis and household goods and furniture, stock both alive and dead, barn in the field, ready money etc. to son William who is made executor.
