  • Scope and Content
Tuesday night we went to the opera. Went to British Museum - liked the walls... at a little distance exactly like marble. ""I cannot tell what Coach I shall come down in, but I rather think in one of Thorn's, there is one that goes from the White Horse, Fetter Lane, which is near us, at 7 o'clock in the morning (the others set out about 5 which is too soon). I think if you were to go St. Neots after dinner and drink tea anywhere, I could join you about 6 o'clock by walking from Eaton. If however it should rain send the chaise to the White Horse at Eaton for me, otherwise keep it at the Falcon [St Neots] and I will find you out."
