- Scope and ContentExtract of the will of Arthur Ellingham, citizen and dyer of London: - devising to Daniel Ellingham, son of his late brother Gabriel a piece of pasture, "late Foster's, whereon a Tenement and several Outhouses and Buildings Lately stood and the Yard and Orchard thereto adjoining" in Stanbridge; - devising to Arthur Ellingham, son of Gabriel, fifteen acres of arable and meadow dispersed in the fields of Stanbridge "which I purchased of William Barns"; also six acres of arable and swerd dispersed in the fields of Stanbridge "which I purchased with the Parcell of Pasture Ground, Yard, Orchard and Premises hereinbefore Given to the said Daniel Ellingham of and from James Foster the Elder and James Foster the Younger"; also five acres of arable, ley, meadow and swerd in the fields of Stanbridge near a place called Inlands purchased of Thomas Prentice - all charged with the annuity to Alice Ellingham; - devising to Arthur Ellingham 2a 1r of leasehold arable and swerd in Stanbridge lately purchased from William Barns for the unexpired term of years and charged with the annuity to Alice Ellingham; - charging Arthur Ellingham to pay a £5 annuity to Alice, daughter of the testator's late brother William Proved at Doctors Commons on 26 Jan 1742 [1743] by John Ellingham and Arthur Ellingham, the two executors named in the will
