    After debts & Funeral expenses paid. Legacies:- children of late cousin, Richard Emmerton Wotton of Kings Langley, Herts, deceased : £450 to be equally divided between them. Cousin Robert Scott, son of her Aunt, £100 if dies within Lifetime then to his executors daughter Elizabeth Coleman £50 if dies within testate's lifetime, then to be equally divided among her children. To George & Marianne Brydges, children of late cousin Thomas £100 each, to Lucy, Mary, & Catherine children of cousin Catherine Maurice 10 guineas each ,to Nicholas Wescomb Esq & Fr. Emmerton Wescomb Emmerton Esq. cousin Rev. Henry Rider, to Mrs Wescomb, wife of Nicholas Wescomb wife of Nicholas Esq, Mrs Anne Dallree wife of Charles Dallree of Claremont, Herts, Esq.,; god daughter Lucy Chines - 10 guineas for ring or trinket in memory of testator to each of servants with testator & sister if living together or else testator alone. 5 guineas each over wages due. Nicholas Wescomb & John Emmerton Wescomb Emmerton to act as Trustees of £300 old South Sea Annuities pt of Stock held there in name of Mother Mary Brydges To be retained in her name for ever DIVIDENDS: Imoiety to Incumbents of Church of Bosbury, Herfordshire to be laid out in purchase of bread to be given and distributed by equal portions, 4 x every year at Christmas, Easter, Whit Sunday & 1st Sunday in October to poor widows of parish of Bosbury - preference to those not receiving Parish Pay - to be issued in Lots of 12d at a time. Other moiety on similar Conditions to Poor Widows of Parish of Colwall, Herfordshire. 50 guineas each to above trustees to be paid within 12 months decease to cousin Catherine Maurice, widow Annuity of 20 guineas, to sister Mary Brydges:- household goods, furniture, plate, watches, jewels, linen China, pictures, Liquors, wearing apparell and other goods and effects except monies and securities for monies (request to give to female servants some part of the work of testator's clothes) to dispose ""as she thinks proper of the best part of them among those of my relations to whom they will be acceptable"". To worthy friend Nicholas Wescomb of Langford Grove, Essex, Esq. and John Emmerton Wescomb Emmerton of Thrumpton Notts Esq. as Trustees to pay rents, profits, dividends real estates in Herefordshire, Beds, Herts & London & monies, Stock, Funds & Securities for monies & residue of personal estate whatsoever.etc. to Sister Mary for Life, then dispose equally between her children who live to 21 (& if a daughter on the day of her marriage) but reversion to children of deceased son dying under 21 if any there be. Reversion in event of Mary not producing children fitting in with above requirements to Cousin Mrs Mary Dunster & sister Mrs Ann Barngarten & survivor:- dividends etc . of £10,000 Stock of 3% Consolidated Bank Annuities. Reversion to their children = to Ultimate Reversionary for estate Trustees on death without issue of Mary to pay Legacies as below. Mary Pernell daughter of late cosin Elizabeth Whitcomb £500. Lucy Stacey & Catherine Maurice,daughter of Catherine Maurice, Widow, (cousin) £200 each if alive (if not pay to executors). AND £1000 to be applied by the Trustees to founding and maintaining a school for teaching poor children of Ledbury, Herefordshire to read & instructing them in Religious Duties,poor children & Schoolmistress to attend service at Ledbury Church 2 x a Sunday - a House to be purchased at Ledbury for school for under £400 Interest of remaining sum to be applied to salary of schoolmistress and for purchasing religious and other necessary books for the use of the children.To grant £300 for Worcester Infirmary & £500 to Hereford Infirmary. £300 to Cousin Richard Brydges of Old Colwall if living at time of decease of sister Mary; if not to executors.ALL above to be paid out of personal estate. After decease of Sister Mary Brydges without issue following Annuities. a) Cousin Robert Scott. son of late Aunt £30 p.a., Margaret Wilson sister of Richard Brydges £10 p.a. to be paid out of Bank Stocks now standing in late father's name.b) £300 to be shared between children of Robert Scott, son of late Aunt. Ultimate residue of estate after death of Sister Mary Brydges without issue Real estate to Richard Wotton, eldest son of late cousin Richard Emmerton Wotton, heires & assigns for ever (but chargeable with £2000 payment, to all the other children of Richard Emmerton Wotton, both Sons & daughters:- pay within 1 year but pay 5.1 interest for one year, residue of personal estate to R.E.Wotton's children equally lawful for new Trustees to be appt, appts Mary Brydges sole executrix witnesses Congrave Selwyn, Rector of Pixley, Laplia Selwyn & Charles Selwyn, Made 28 Aug 1806 Codicil ""still of sound mind and memory tho 'extremely ill! In addition to what already left him, £30 annuity for life to George Thomas, the black servant ""the first half years payment not to be made to him till one year and half after my Decease as I hope he would not on this account leave my sister suddenly or unhandsomely"" annuity to be paid clear of all Duty.Instead of annuity to Mrs Catherine Maurice Widow, leaves her an annuity of £30 p.a. Clear of duty. 1st payment 1/2 year after death of Testator, both annuities to be secured on 3% stock either Consols or O.S.S [Old South Sea]. £300 over and above already left them to Wotton family to be paid in instalments of £40 p.a. to mother till Richard of age. When he must maintain rest, remainder of £300 to Brother WilliamWotton (premium and then £20 p.a.) expenses during apprenticeship to be paid out of 3% stock, £500 towards repairing Ledbury Church to be paid out of 3% .Whenever more money is raised by other people for that purpose and ""the work to set about"" ,£20 to poor of Ledbury.
