Payne on the north, the forefront abutting upon the common street there called Watling St, upon the east, and the land sometime of Edward Davy upon the west. which said messuage and close were heretofore purchased by Dearmer from Robert Braye of Markyate St. and now in the occupation of John Nevell and his assignees witnesses: to seisin: Edmund Jones, Thomas Cushly, Joan Nevill wife to John Nevill and John Spencer.
