    in consideration of £236 paid to Thomas Creswell, father of (i): capital messuage or tenament with appurtenances in Church St., Luton, now or late in the occupation of John Same, maltster, and also 3 messuages or tenaments adjoining the said capital messuage, now in the occupations of Andrew Pritchatt, Edward Allen and (? ) Burges. with appurtenances. also, 5 acres of arable land near Warren Gate in a field belonging to Luton called Blackwater Field, Someries path leading over one part of the said piece. With appurtenances. 2 pieces of arable land lying in a certain field belonging to Luton aforesaid commonly called Burdge field or Bridge field, whereof one piece contains 1 acre, and lies next to the highwaye leading from the gravel pits towards round green; and the other piece containing 4 acres lying next the land of Edward Eure gent. on both sides. warrenty clause. witnesses: Robert Little, William Fisher.
