Bushmead, to Miss Wade-Gery, 6 Albion Place, Ramsgate. Your letter received last night. I don't think you understand me about the bequests. We think our good kind mother [Hester Wade-Gery] did what was quite right, but Anne and I thought it a little hard that neither she nor her godson were mentioned. Wish to know what debts were, and what wages owing. An inventory should be made. Peter ? Fernie is found - he is listed as a soldier at Woolwich, He does not know his friends know it.
